So while this confirms that Dead Island 2 is apparently still in the works, it doesn't give fans an idea of when they may get a more substantial look at the long-in-development game, and it also doesn't offer a hint as to how far along it is in development. Interacting with fans on Twitter, Deep Silver teased that Dead Island 2 is still in development, though it wasn't yet ready to share more information about the game. While many fans may have given up on ever actually getting to play Dead Island 2, it seems as though the game is still in active development at Dambuster Studios. Since its initial announcement, Dead Island 2 development has been restarted multiple times, with the title being passed from one studio to the next. It's been over six years since Dead Island 2 was originally announced, and it doesn't seem as though fans are any closer to actually getting their hands on the open world zombie game. ![]()
